Not bad considering we never wanted to make our own undies (we accidentally tried it and then they were so comfie we couldn't go back to the RTW undies we'd previously considered comfortable).

Banksia and Banksia Swim Expansion
A great first bralette project, our Banksia Bralette lets you skip all the expensive rings, sliders, fasteners, underwires associated with bra sewing, and ease gently into the waters with fold-over elastic, powermesh, and the same ribbed non-roll elastic we recommend for all our elastic-waist pants.
Our Banksia Swim Expansion expands the possibilities of your Banksia Bralette pattern to create a 2-piece swim set with either a bikini top (pictured) or tankini, all with a beautiful bound edge.
The look of the bound edge is just beautiful in our opinion and looks very professional and high quality. It’s also one of the easiest to adjust, if needed, because you can try on the garment before the binding is complete and reattach the elastic with a different amount of ease without much fuss. Finally, it’s super comfy with a cushy edge and won’t dig in, even on long beach days!
Other undergarments
A pattern that often gets lost in the mix is the tankini view of our Banksia Swim Expansion, which just happens to be super easy to make into a tank with a built-in Banksia Bralette! It's really as simple as finishing the edges with fold-over elastic rather than doing the bound swimsuit elastic finish- read more about it on the blog.
And, there's our popular Dulcie Boxer Briefs pattern which were designed to double as chub-rub shorts to wear under dresses and skirts (but they also feel delightful under pants). This pattern is an absolute game-changer for our wardrobes, since we can now sew natural fibre chub rub shorts (all of the commercial options are mostly polyester, AKA plastic)!
