Long Sleeve Torrens Box Top

Long Sleeve Torrens Box Top

Our updated Torrens Box Top pattern, which included the long-sleeve options, has been out in the world for only a week and there's already so many gorgeous versions popping up! We've rounded up a few here which might get your inspiration flowing!

Meg from Cookin' & Craftin' whipped up this double gauze long-sleeve Torrens and posted about it over on her blog.

Jenna from @theladywholunches whipped up this gorgeous long-sleeve Torrens in heavyweight white linen. She also did some lovely embroidery on the pattern, for a close-up check out her instagram post about the top.

Kim from @_sewingwithscissors_ hacked her long-sleeve Torrens and added a popover placket to make the top breastfeeding friendly! See more over on her instagram.

Sara from @fabric_scraps found the perfect duvet cover to thrift for her long-sleeve Torrens! See a video of Sara in the top here.

This might be my new favourite long-sleeve Torrens, which I made in cotton crepe fabric (which I'd never heard of until I bought it)! I didn't have enough fabric to allow for pattern matching, which made for a very stress-free sew!

Hi Gail,

You’ll need about 50cm more fabric for the sleeves, but more if you have a pattern that you’d like to match.

Happy Sewing!

Jess from Muna and Broad

Hi there, I’m sure it’s somewhere here or in the instructions and I’m missing it, but how much extra fabric is required for the long sleeves? (both the regular and wide?) Thanks so much!

Gail
