Since we're a hemisphere apart, it inevitably happens that one of us is heading into summer when the other is heading in to winter. This has worked at all because one of us has always got cosy/cozy on the mind when we're designing new patterns!
Quite a few of our dresses are perfect for spanning the seasons, whether it's because they've got toasty features like turtlenecks or funnelnecks, because they look great with boots and tights, or because they're perfect for pairing with merino jersey!

Our Alistra Dress is perhaps our most obviously cosy dress- comfie knit fabric, long breeze-free sleeves and maxi-length.
For views we went with a scoopy neck with a narrower-than-usual neckband which looks particularly elevated and delicate, and a classy funnel-neck option (which I love so much)! Of course, we were also imagining the colourblocked Patreon Bonus while designing the pattern itself.
The Hexham Dress is the dress that we kept 'winter in mind for' the most out of any of our patterns. We really wanted it to work with 2-way and 4-way stretch so that you could use merino jersey for an extra cosy dress. Merino or wool jersey doesn't usually have 4-way stretch like a cotton/spendex or bamboo/spandex will, so the Hexham is pretty rare- a knit dress designed for merino!
The neckline options are turtleneck, mockneck and high-ish crewneck, all of which are very winter appropriate.
Leila styles her merino cocoon hem Hexham (above) with tights and boots (wouldn't it look cool with a Shoalhaven Shacket over the top). We both also made versions of the Hexham that we lengthened to maxi length, which is another way to make yourself slightly warmer!
