The Glebe Pants [pronounced like 'gleeb'] are designed with large bodies in mind and even if you normally require adjustments to get a great fit on your pants, our hope is that these will require no, or very minimum, adjustments.

The Glebe Pant is a wide pant with a fully elasticated waist (View A) or a pleated, flat front, fully lined (optional) with an elasticated back (View B). Both views feature large slash pockets, a generous rise, and ample room through the crotch to accommodate large bodies.

We would like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Glebe region, the Eora people, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.

Finished Garment Measurements:

Please select your size based primarily on your hip measurement (waist is adjustable with the elastic. Alterations in length can be easily made by shortening or lengthening at the hem.

Suggested Fabric:

This pattern is designed for use with a variety of woven fabrics. Viscose/viscose blends, cotton, tencel, linen, suitings, or even light- weight coating fabric may be used.

As with most garment sewing, we do not recommend the use of quilting cottons.

If you’re using a patterned fabric with a repeat that you’d like to match, you may need more fabric than what is suggested above.

Ensure your fabric is washed and pre-shrunk before cutting.

Notions:

• 1.5” (38mm) wide waistband elastic (to fit waist)
• 24” (60cm), 1/4” (6mm) fine cotton tape (sometimes called hanger tape or substitute very thin/lightweight twill tape)
• Matching all purpose thread
