Grainger Coat Sewing Pattern PDF

The Grainger Coat is an oversized, quilted coat in two lengths. View A hits at the hip and view B hits at the thigh. Both views can be self quilted or sewn using pre-quilted fabric. The inside of the Grainger can be fully lined or the seams can be finished using a special flat binding finish. The edges are bound with bias or twill tape and the coat is closed using snaps. The deep pockets in both views will keep your hands (and phone) cozy.

This coat is designed to have a large amount of design ease. Please select your size using your hip and bust measurement. Sizing down will negatively impact the fit of the garment.

If you are using very bulky lining such as faux fur, you may wish to size up one
size. If you wish to intentionally crinkle/shrink up your coat after sewing (for extra texture), you may also wish to size up.

Cup sizes
Where cup sizes have not been stated it's because the pattern is dart-free and has been designed to be 'cup-size flexible'. If you're unsure about what size to use, you can always email your measurements to help@munaandbroad.com for specific sizing advice.
