Belmore Jacket Sewing Pattern PDF

The Belmore Jacket [pronounced like bell-more] is an easy to wear, versatile outer layer. This unlined, boxy jacket hits at the low hip and is designed to be loose fitting and oversized with dropped shoulders. The Belmore Jacket features hidden inseam pockets, a modern collar that slightly extends up the neck, and a sleeve facing so you can cuff the sleeves or wear them uncuffed. The design lines on this jacket make it the perfect pattern for scrapbusting. The Belmore Jacket can be sewn in a variety of fabrics and therefore adapted for all seasons.

Where cup sizes have not been stated it's because the pattern is dart-free and has been designed to be 'cup-size flexible'. If you're unsure about what size to use, you can always email your measurements to help@munaandbroad.com for specific sizing advice.

Suggested Fabric:

This pattern is designed to be sewn with a wide variety of woven fabrics. We suggest denim, cotton canvas, cotton twill, medium-heavyweight linen, corduroy, lightweight wool coating, boiled wool.

Notions:

• 2m/2.2yds single fold bias tape (19mm (3/4”) finished/folded width - required
• Additional 12m/13yds single fold bias tape (19mm (3/4”) finished/folded width) - for binding internal seams (optional)
• 1m/1.1yds light-medium weight interfacing (50cm/20” wide)
• 18” (46cm), 1/4” (6mm) twill tape
• Matching all purpose thread
