The period undies have a large pad suitable for day wear or overnight and the level of absorbency is completely customizable.
This PDF pattern comes with printable files for US copy shop, A0 files, tiled print-at-home (suitable for A4 and US Letter) and illustrated pattern instructions to take you step-by step-through the process of making the pattern.
This pattern is suitable for sewing on a home sewing machine and doesn't require a serger/overlocker. The illustrated instructions give directions for sewing the undies using the zig zag stitch function on your machine!
Alternatively, you can use serger/overlocker for the seams, but you will also need to use a zigzag stitch to apply the elastic and finish the gusset.
